The Odense Bulldogs are a Danish ice hockey club from Odense, which was founded in 1978 and in the 2011/12 season playing in the AL-Bank Ligaen.
History
The Odense Bulldogs, who were founded in 1978, rose in the season 1990/91 on the AL -Bank Ligaen. The biggest success of the team was winning the Danish Cup in season 2005/06. On 26 May 2008, the team was outsourced from the original club and renamed in Odense Ishockey Club A / S under the direction of Jack Nielsen. In the 2007 /08 season Odense reached the play-off semi-finals, where they lost to the eventual champions Herning Blue Fox in the best- of-seven series in a sweep. In the ensuing duel for third place against SønderjyskE Ishockey the team was defeated in two games with a total of 5:8 gates.
