Omar Elabdellaoui 2011

Omar Elabdellaoui (born 5 December 1991 in Oslo) is a Norwegian football player of Moroccan descent who stands since 2013 with Eintracht Braunschweig in the Bundesliga under contract. Elabdellaoui is right back, but can also be used in the right midfield.

Club career

Youth and Manchester City

Elabdellaoui began his career in the youth of Skeid Oslo. At the age of 16, he moved to Manchester City. The U-18 coach Scott Sellars told him in an interview with Norwegian broadcaster TV 2 in January 2010, a " bright future " ahead. Elabdellaoui convinced with good performances in training in youth; He was nominated League game against Juventus on 16 December 2010 for the first team for Europe. His debut for the reserve team of Manchester City completed Elabdellaoui on 6 October 2009 in a 3-2 win over the reserve from FC Sunderland. Overall, he played twelve games in the Premier Reserve League.

Loan for Strømsgodset IF

On March 31, 2011, the last day of the transfer window, Norwegian, Elabdellaoui was awarded until the season starts in England together with his teammates Mohammed Abu and Razak Nuhu to the Drammen club Strømsgodset IF. His debut 3 April 2011 ended with a 1:5 defeat against Start Kristiansand. In the Eredivisie, he debuted on September 2, 2012 ( 4th Round ) in Feyenoord's 0-1 defeat against Vitesse Arnhem. Overall, however, he came only five appearances in the first round 2012/13.

Eintracht Braunschweig

In January 2013 he was awarded for the rest of the season in the German second division club Eintracht Braunschweig, who also secured a purchase option. In his first three games, he prepared three goals. In April 2013 Eintracht Braunschweig took the call and ended with Elabdellaoui a contract until 30 June 2015.

At the end of the season he rose with Brunswick as a table runner-up in the Bundesliga. In this he made his debut on 10 August 2013 ( 1st Round ) in the 0-1 defeat at home to Werder Bremen. On September 15, 2013 ( 5th Round ), he scored the deficit to 1-1 draw in the 70th minute in the home game against 1 FC Nuremberg his first Bundesliga goal. In 16 of the 17 season games he was in the starting.

National

From the U-15 to U -23 went through Elabdellaoui all Norwegian junior national teams and participated in the U- 21 team at the European Championships in 2013 in Israel. On 14 August 2013, first played for the senior national team in a friendly match against the selection of Sweden.
