Otago Rugby Football Union

The Otago Rugby Football Union ( orfU ) is the national rugby union Provincial Association for the Otago region in the South Island of New Zealand. The association and jersey colors are blue and yellow. The selection team of the Association in the national championship ITM Cup carries out their home games at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.

Otago has (the former National Provincial Championship ) won the New Zealand championship twice. In the years 1935, 1938, 1947-1950 and 1957, the team was in possession of the Ranfurly Shield.

Players from Otago represent the largest part of the team Highlanders, who plays in the international Super Rugby championship. For this reason, the home games of the Highlanders will also be held in Dunedin.
