Paavo Lonkila

Paavo Olavi Lonkila (born 11 January 1923 in Kiuruvesi ) is a former Finnish cross country skier who competed in the 1940s and 1950s.

His most significant success is winning the gold medal with the Finnish 4x10 km relay at the Winter Olympics in 1952. At these competitions, he also won a bronze medal. Two years earlier he had become at the World Championships with the second season.
