Pak Nam-chol (footballer born 1985)

Pak Nam- chol (born 2 July 1985) is a North Korean football player.

Career

Pak has performed internationally as a player of the sports group April 25 in appearance, the club of the Korean People's Army.

The defender came in the years 2004 and 2005 in the World Cup qualifiers to five appearances for the North Korean national team. In 2005 he took part with the selection of the qualifying round of the East Asia Championship, took place for the final tournament but not taken into account. 2007 included inserts in the North Korean Olympic team (U -23 ), so he stood during qualifying for the Olympic football tournament in 2008 at the place, as they remained in the final qualifying round behind Australia and Iraq. In 2008, he was in the final round of the East Asian Cup squad for the A national team, in 2010 he missed with North Korea surprise the finals appearance.

In the successful qualification for the 2010 World Cup, he formed together with Ri Jun- il, Cha Jong- Hyok and Ri Kwang- chon, the defensive line, which was 10 times without conceding a goal in the 14 games of the 2nd and 3rd qualifying round, and thus the foundation for the success laid.
