Features

Macroscopic characteristics

The Blistered peel fungus forms of fleshy, brittle, fragile apothecia, which are in the early stages globose to bubble- shaped and spread at maturity. Usually, several of them standing side by side. The edge is rolled inwards and wavy irregular. The whitish or pale - ockerliche outside is kleiig - floury to scaly and has numerous small vesicles on. The diameter is 3-9 cm. The inside of the cup side bears the fruit layer. It is smooth, at first yellowish brown and pale cafe au lait colored later. The short stem is colored like the cup outside and is often wrong.

Microscopic characteristics

The spores are smooth, hyaline, elliptical, 19-22 × 10-12.5 (-14 ) microns in size. The tubes are cylindrical and are 310-380 × 19-23 microns in size. The paraphyses are filiform. A stratification of the Trama like the short-handled cup Ling is sometimes observed, but not constant.

Ecology and phenology
