Plavecký Peter
Plavecký Peter (until 1960 " Plavecký Svätý Peter"; German Blasenstein St. Peter, Hungarian Detrekőszentpéter ) is a municipality in western Slovakia with 632 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2011) and belongs to Okres Senica, a part of the Trnavský kraj.
Geography
The municipality is located partly in the lowlands Záhorská nížina, partly in the Small Carpathians, near the military area Zahorie in the landscape Zahorie. The center is located at an altitude of 226 m nm and is located 26 km from Senica and 29 km from Malacky.
History
The town itself was first mentioned in writing in 1394 and belonged to the years 1496-1550 under the jurisdiction of the castle bladder stone. 1828 are listed 105 houses and 770 inhabitants mainly deal in agriculture.
