Prosperidad is a Philippine municipality in the province of Agusan del Sur. It has 76 628 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).
Prosperidad is the seat of the provincial government of Agusan del Sur. In the village there is a campus of the Philippine Normal University.
