Province of Florence

The Florence ( Italien. Provincia di Firenze) Province is one of 10 provinces of the Italian region of Tuscany. Capital is Florence. It has 987 354 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in 42 municipalities covering an area of ​​3514 km ²

The province is bordered on the north by Emilia -Romagna, to the east by the province of Arezzo, in the southeast of the province of Siena, in the southwest of the province of Pisa, in the northwest of the province of Prato and to the province of Pistoia.
