Ray Giroux

Raymond Giroux ( born July 20, 1976 in North Bay, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since June 2013 at the Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Giroux began his career in 1994 at Yale University, where he played in the ECAC Hockey, one of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division. In his debut year, he was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the NHL Entry Draft in the eighth round in a total of 202 point. After a total of four seasons in the jersey of Yale, where he received numerous nominations in selecting teams, in 1998 the change in the American Hockey League. There he ran for Lowell Lock Monsters, where in 2000 he was invited for the first time the top scoring defender and the AHL All- Star Classic in the first year.
