Retief Goosen

Retief Goosen ( born February 3, 1969 in Pietersburg (now Polokwane ), South Africa ) is a professional golfer. He is two-time Major winner and was represented from 2001 to 2007 over 250 weeks in the Top 10 of the World Golf Rankings. His nickname is " The Goose ".

Career

His amateur career was briefly interrupted when he was touched at the age of 16 by lightning. Professional was Goosen 1990, after winning the South African Amateur Championship.
