Ricky Fataar

Ricky Fataar ( born September 5, 1952 in Durban, South Africa) is a South African drummer. He is best known for his membership in the band The Rutles and The Beach Boys.

Life

Fataar was from 1965, as well as Blondie Chaplin, a member of The Flames. In 1968 he moved to England and joined after the dissolution of 1972-1974 on together with the Beach Boys. He played on the recording of " So Tough " and " Holland", this wrote some songs and produced it as well. In 1974, he got out of the band, but had further contact with Dennis Wilson. He is to be found as a studio musician on several Beach Boys albums. Later he worked as a studio and touring musicians, including with jazz guitarist John Scofield.
