Ried im Innkreis District

The political district of Ried, as Region Central Innviertel, is a district in Innviertel in Upper Austria. It is bordered on the west by the district of Braunau am Inn, on the east by the districts Schärding and Gries churches, to the south by the district Vöcklabruck, on the north by the Free State of Bavaria.

History

The district was created in 1868. The new Grieskirchen the judicial district Sprengel Hague in 1911 was given at the house jerk. 1923 was the community Geiersberg from Grieskirchen to the district Ried back.

Administrative divisions

The district Ried is divided into 36 municipalities, including with Ried a city and eight market towns. The population figures are from January 1, 2013.
