Wels-Land District

The political district of Wels-Land in Upper Austria is the city of Wels. District Captain Josef Gruber.

History

The district was created in 1868. Through the creation of the district Eferding came 1907, the district court district Eferding and Waizenkirchen to the new district.

Administrative divisions

The Wels-Land district is divided into 24 municipalities, including the city and ten market towns. The population figures are from 1 January 2013.
