The Diocese of Ciego de Ávila (Latin: Dioecesis Caeci Abulensis ) is a community on Cuba Roman Catholic diocese based in Ciego de Ávila.

History

The Diocese of Ciego de Ávila was established on 2 February 1996 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Universal Ecclesiae out of territory of the Diocese of Camagüey. It was the Archdiocese of Camagüey is a suffragan. First bishop was Mario Eusebio Mestril Vega.
