The Diocese of Waterford and Lismore ( ir: Deoise Phort Láirge agus Leasa moire, Latin: Dioecesis Vaterfordiensis et Lismoriensis ) is a location in Ireland Roman Catholic diocese based in Waterford.

History

The Diocese of Waterford and Lismore was built in 1096 by Pope Urban II as a diocese Waterford. On June 16, 1363 Diocese of Waterford was merged with the diocese of Lismore and renamed the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore. The Diocese of Waterford and Lismore is the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly is a suffragan.
