Romulo Valles

Romulo Valles Geolina (born 10 July 1951, Maribojoc ) is Archbishop of Davao.

Life

Romulo Valles Geolina received on 6 April 1976, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 24 June 1997 to the Bishop of Kidapawan. He received his episcopal consecration by the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, Archbishop Gian Vincenzo Moreni, on 6 August of the same year; Co-consecrators were Philip Francis Smith, OMI, Archbishop of Cotabato, and Wilfredo Manlapaz, Bishop of Tagum.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 13 November 2006 to the Archbishop of Zamboanga and on 11 February 2012 as Archbishop of Davao.
