Rosora
Rosora is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1988 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Ancona in the Marche. The community is located about 38.5 km west- southwest of Ancona on esino and belongs to the Comunità montana dell'Esino Frasassi.
History
Although the village was settled early on by the Romans and later by the Lombards, the present settlement came only through the establishment of a castle on the town of Jesi.
Community partnership
Rosora maintains since 2007 a partnership with the Hessian community Antrifttal ( Germany ).
Traffic
Through the community, the Strada Statale 76 della Val d' esino leads from Perugia to Falconara Marittima.
