Sae Saboua

SAE Saboua (also: Saye Saboua ) is a rural municipality in the Department guidan Roumdji in Niger.
Geography
SAE Saboua located at the junction of Great Landscape Sudan Sahel. The neighboring municipalities are Chadakori in the north, and Sarkin Yamma Maïyara in the northeast, Tchadoua in the east, Maradi and Djiratawa in the south and Tibiri in the West. The municipality is divided into 88 administrative villages, two traditional villages and 27 hamlets. The main town of the rural community is the administrative village SAE Saboua.
History
The rural community of SAE Saboua went out in 2002 as part of a nationwide administrative reform from the canton of SAE Saboua. The hunger crisis in Niger in 2005 SAE Saboua was one of the most affected places. Here the population had less than one meal a day.
Population
At the 2001 census SAE Saboua had 65 935 inhabitants. For the year 2010 89.099 inhabitants were calculated.
Economy and infrastructure
In SAE Saboua livestock industry, trade and craft are operated. There are too few arable land. The secluded rural community has no significant road network.
