San Joaquin Hills, Newport Beach
San Joaquin Hills is a neighborhood of Newport Beach in California. He previously held the status of a defined and used for statistical settlement area ( census-designated place ) and was incorporated in 2002.
The district is largely a gated community to the residential areas can be reached only through guarded gate entrances. Amidst the settlement is with the San Joaquin Hills reservoir a large lake, ideal for fishing.
Geography
San Joaquin Hills covers the hilltops of the eponymous San Joaquin Hills, which belong to the foothills of California's coastal mountains. The village is nestled in the rolling countryside and partially has sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. San Joaquin Hills is bordered on the west and south by the districts of Corona del Mar and Newport Coast. In the north- west is the site of the UC Irvine, which belongs to the city of Irvine.
San Joaquin Hills is conveniently located between two highways. The California State Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway ) runs south along the coast. The California State Route 73 (San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor ) limits the site to the north and gives motorists a slight Directions.
