San Paolo

San Paolo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4551 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. The community is located about 24.5 kilometers southwest of Brescia.

History

1927, the former town Pedergnaga the villages Oriano, Cremezzano and Scarpizzolo added. In 1928 the church received the name Pedergnaga Oriano until in 1968 a decree in honor of Pope Paul VI. has been renamed.

Traffic

Passing through the municipality in east-west direction, the former State Road 668 Lenese (now the province of Brescia road ( SPBS ) 668 ) of Lonato after Orzinuovi.
