Capriolo

Capriolo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. The municipality is situated approximately 21 km east-southeast of Bergamo and 25 kilometers west-northwest of Brescia on Oglio, two miles south of Lake Iseo. Capriolo is immediately adjacent to the province of Bergamo. The community is located east of the Parco Nord in dell'Oglio Ogliotal, at the same time, the Monte Alto rises to 680 meters.

Economy and Transport

To Franciacorta and thus also to the municipality belongs to the wine. The Capriolo is better known as table wine. The transport connections via the former State Road 469 Sebina Occidentale (now provincial road ) that connects the western shore of Lake Iseo with the Autostrada A4 (Turin -Trieste ), about 2.5 kilometers south of Capriolo. At the non-electrified railway Palazzolo - Paratico there is a breakpoint.

Sports

The women's soccer team ACF Brescia Femminile plays since 2008 (as of 2011) in the Serie A of women's football.
