Šarišské Bohdanovce
Šarišské Bohdanovce ( until 1948 slovak " Bogdanovce "; Hungarian Sárosbogdány - to 1907 Bogdány ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia with 695 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2011) in Okres Prešov, a part of the Prešov Region and is the traditional landscape Saris counted.
Geography
The municipality is located in the central part of the basin Košická kotlina on the left bank of the Torysa. The center is located at an altitude of 225 m nm and is 20 kilometers from Kosice and 22 km from Prešov away.
History
The town was first mentioned in writing in 1299. 1828 are listed 75 houses and 561 inhabitants.
