Schöndorf, Thuringia

Schöndorf is a municipality in the Thuringian Saale- Orla-Kreis. It belongs to the administrative community Ranis goat back.

Geography

Nice village lies east of the city Ziegenriick and west of the city in Schleiz Schleizer Oberland in Southeast Thuringian Slate Mountains. A local link road has connected to the national road 2350th

History

On 1 July 1979, the three places Schoendorf ( 1378 ), Tausa ( 1378 ) and Külmla ( 1378 ) were merged to form the political community Schöndorf. In brackets is the documentary was first mentioned.

Monuments

In the cemetery of Schöndorf the grave monument of a perished forced laborer from Poland reminded that here and used in Külmla during the Second World War forced laborers were: among farmers and the farm of the landowner Golle in Külmla, where children were forced to work.
