Senica
Senica ( Senitz German, Hungarian Szenice - to 1907 Szenic - older even Szénásfalu ) is the largest city in the district of the same, as well as an economic center in the northern West Slovakia. It is located on the Teplica before its confluence with the Myjava.
History
The town was first mentioned in 1217 as Scynte and was already inhabited in the Bronze Age. In the 16th century it came to the influx of some German Anabaptists in the place.
Attractions
In the village there are three forts, one Catholic and one Protestant church and a synagogue in 1666.

Senica consists of the four parts of the municipality:
- Čáčov (1971 incorporated )
- Kunov (1976 incorporated )
- Senica
- And Sotina (1944 amalgamated ).
