Sentheim

Sentheim is a commune with 1663 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the district Thann, founded the Canton Masevaux and the 2001 Association of Municipalities Vallée de la Doller et Soultzbach.

Geography

The municipality is situated on the Doller Sentheim in the transition region between the Vosges Mountains and the Upper Rhine Plain, approximately 20 kilometers west of Mulhouse. The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges.

Neighboring communities of Sentheim are Bourbach -le- Bas in the north, Guewenheim in the east, Soppe -le-Haut in the southeast, southwest, and Lauw Mortzwiller in the west.
