Sibusiso Zuma

Sibusiso Wiseman Zuma ( born June 23, 1975 in Durban ) is a South African football player. He plays at the position of the right side striker or up front. He is currently engaged in his home country at SuperSport United.

Football career

After Zuma had initially played for the South African clubs Orlando Pirates and African Wanderers, he moved in 2001 to FC Copenhagen, with which he was twice champion and twice runner-up. A bicycle kick Zuma from 2001 against arch-rivals Brondby IF is counted in Denmark for many years the "most beautiful goal ever ". Zuma was elected in 2001 in Denmark "Player of the Year." For the season 2005/ 06 he moved to Arminia Bielefeld, where he got a contract until 2008.

Zuma scored in his first Bundesliga game for Arminia Bielefeld also equal to his first Bundesliga goal. He met the interim 2:2 in an away game against Werder Bremen.

Zuma took with South Africa, among others, at the African Cup of Nations 2004 Tunisia, as well as the African Nations Cup in Egypt in 2006 and at the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea in part. Since 2004 he leads the Bafana Bafana captain on the pitch.

Despite several offers from the Premier League to Zuma decided against a club move to England and thus also starred in the 2007/08 season in Arminia. Once again this season was mixed for the player, he moved to the 2008/09 season in his South African home to the Mamelodi Sundowns.

In October 2009, the club loose Zuma moved to Denmark for FC Nordsjælland to return to his home country only a few months later. After successfully running trial Zuma signed the end of July 2010 at the South African first division club Vasco da Gama a contract with a term until end of season.

Since the season 2011/12 Zuma plays for Supersport United.

Others

Nicknamed the " Zuma the Puma ," which he had already been to Copenhagen times, he probably due to his speed and his running style, reminiscent of the smoothness of a wild cat.

His trademarks are his bleached hair. Originally, as Zuma's statement that he dyed his hair blond, so his grandmother could see it better on TV, but even after her death, he has retained his trademark.

Zuma is married and has twin daughters.
