Documents

Sahathor was the son of God the Father Haan chief and the king's mother Kemi. His siblings were, among others Neferhotep I, who reigned before him and his successor Sobekhotep IV.

Sahathor ruled by the Royal Canon of Turin just a few months (0 years,? Months, 3 days), on the King List of Karnak he does not appear. Even as a prince, he is busy on inscriptions on the first cataract (Island Sehel ) and on the way from Shellal to Aswan, also two statues from the Hekaib sanctuary of Elephantine. With his throne name is perhaps a bead labeled, and a seal cylinder was found, but the reading of the King name on these objects controversial, so that there is doubt as to the classification of these objects to Sahathor and he may never ruled as independent rulers. Finally, there are even a posthumous statue, on which he appears only as a king's son.
