Silver Spoon (manga)

Gin no Saji Silver Spoon (Japanese銀 の 匙Silver Spoon ) is a manga series of the Japanese illustrator Hiromu Arakawa. It is published in Japan since 2011, has been translated into several languages ​​and adapted as an anime. The plot revolves around the lives of students at an agricultural high school in Hokkaido.

Content

Yugo Hachiken (八 轩 勇 吾) comes from Sapporo and wants to go to the middle school as far away from home. Therefore, he chooses the Ōezo agricultural high school (大虾 夷 农业 高等学校, Ōezo Nōgyō Kōtō Gakko ) in Yezo, which lies secluded in the countryside and has a boarding school.

The normal school subjects fall easily to him, but he has an unexpected number of practice hours, so it hardly remains free time. The other classmates are mostly from farming families in the region and have him with her special knowledge ahead, most of them, unlike him, already plans for what they do after school. On the other hand it can help them in subjects such as mathematics. Anime

The studio A-1 Pictures produced 2013 eleven-part anime adaptation of the manga. Directed by Tomohiko Itō assisted by Kotomi Deai, the character design designed June Nakai and as artistic director Sawako Takagi was committed.
