Sındırgı is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Balıkesir. The city is located about 50 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital of Balıkesir.

The district is located in the southeast of the province. It is bordered to the west by the central district, to the north by Bigadiç, to the east by Dursunbey and to the Kütahya Province and on the south by the province of Manisa. The town lies on the road that branches off from the coming of Bigadiç D -555 to the southwest in the direction of Akhisar. In the northeast of the county is the Ulus Dagi, a part of the mountain ridge Alacam Dagi, in the southeast of Kepez Dagi (also Simav Dağları ). Three kilometers east of the county town is the dam Çaygören Baraji, which is formed by the dammed headwaters of Simav Çayı, the ancient Makestos.
