Sören Seidel

Sören Seidel ( born October 10, 1972 in Dusseldorf ) is a German football player.

Career

Seidel began his career at various amateur clubs in Bremen ( Blumenthaler SV, SG Aumund- Vegesack ) and Lower Saxony ( Atlas Delmenhorst ). From 1997 he was in the squad of the German Bundesliga Werder Bremen, in which he played twelve matches in the following year and a half. In the meantime, he was loaned to the then second division club Hannover 96. He was together with Ulf Kirsten scorer of the DFB - League Cup in 1999.

From 2000, Seidel played two years at second division MSV Duisburg and the regional division Holstein Kiel. After one season at third division Preußen Münster held positions at the 1 FC Kleve in the Oberliga Nordrhein at SV Lippstadt 08 and in the Oberliga Westfalen. From 2007 to 2009 Seidel played two years in the regional team of Borussia Mönchengladbach.

From the 2009/10 season he played in the Oberliga Niedersachsen TSV Otter mountain, before he returned to the 2010/11 season to his old home club Blumenthaler SV in the Bremen-Liga. After a year he moved on to league rivals FC Oberneuland, with whom he became champion and once again rose to the Regionalliga Nord.
