Spabrücken

Spabrücken is a municipality in the north of the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Rüdesheim. Spabrücken is a nationally recognized resort and famous for his pilgrimage Church of the Assumption and the adjoining monastery.

Geography

Spabrücken is located southeast of the Soonwaldsteig main ridge, a mountain range in the Hunsrück; this is a part of the Rhenish Slate Mountains. South of the village is the forest Gauch, another part of the aforementioned mountains. 63.3 percent of the district area is forested.
