Still Cruisin ' is an album by the U.S. band The Beach Boys. It was published in 1989 under the record label Capitol Records. It included five new songs, which were produced by Terry Melcher - as an exception are " In My Car " (produced by Brian Wilson) and " Iceland girl" (produced by Al Jardine ) call.

Formation

In 1988, the Beach Boys only four. Brian Wilson had given his departure from the band known and recorded a solo album. The other Beach Boys were on tour.

In 1988, she contributed the song Kokomo in the soundtrack of the movie " Cocktail ". The song was the first number one in America since 1966 and Good Vibrations. In addition to these pieces, three songs were enclosed from the 60's the album from Capitol, which was met with protest by the Beach Boys.

The album peaked in the U.S. Billboard charts ranked # 46 The single and the album Kokomo were awarded in the United States with a gold record.

Most of the songs come from various soundtrack albums. The title track comes from the soundtrack to the film focal LA, the three older pieces were used in advance in movies: I Get Around was in "Good Morning, Vietnam ," " Would not It Be Nice " in " The Big Chill " and California Girls in Soul Man used. Wipe Out is a cover version of the well-known hits by The Surfaris, where a text is given for the instrumental. In this version, the hip- hop group The Fat Boys interacts with.
