Stoltebüll

Stoltebuell (Danish: Stoltebøl ) is a municipality in the district of Schleswig -Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography

Stoltebuell lies to the east of the landscape fishing, about ten kilometers from the Baltic Sea, in a varied hilly landscape with heights up to 57 m above sea level. The landscape is characterized by Knicks, the typical landscape hedgerows, fields, meadows and small forests. The settlement pattern is characterized by small districts such as Belgrade and a variety of cover scattered farms and mansions.

Besides Stoltebuell are Gulde - Schörderup ( Gulde - Skørdrup ), Vogelsang ( Fuglsang ) and Wittkiel ( Hvidkilde ), which were independent communities until 1970, in the municipal area.

History

Barrows in the municipal area are evidence of a settlement that dates back to the Neolithic period.

The places Drült, Schörderup and Stoltebuell were first mentioned in 1394, when they were as a wedding gift to the Good circular courtyard, which now belongs to Stangheck, passed. Gulde was first mentioned in 1497.

Thingplace in Gulde

The historical Thingplace in Gulde named Guly Thing. It was reconstructed in 2003 by the community just off the historic site. There is a stone circle of boulders. The Village Thing regulated the jurisdiction and all disputes in the place. This village Thing existed until the 19th century.

Good Drült

The manor was first mentioned in 1397 as Trölegaard. The Classicist manor house located in the vast forest areas Guts was rebuilt after a fire caused by lightning in 1800 in an English landscape garden. It contains a large, over the centuries collected library. This library was also a scene of the TV series " The Country Doctor ".
