Sumiswald is a municipality in the administrative district of Emmental in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

Geography

Sumiswald comprises two parishes and three villages ( Sumiswald, Green and Wasen ) in the lower Emmental and counts with an area of ​​5933 ha of the largest municipalities in the canton. The population is approximately 5,300 (as of 2008).

History
