Swedish Crime Writers' Academy

The Swedish Crime Price ( Original: Svenska Deckarakademins pris ) is a renowned literary prize for crime fiction. He is since 1971 annually by the Svenska Deckarakademin (English: Swedish Academy for Detection: Swedish Crime Writers' Academy, too) awarded in different categories ( The Martin Beck Award, Bästa svenska kriminalroman, Bästa svenska debut, Grand Master, etc.). While initially only international writer whose novels were published in the Swedish language, were concerned with the price, there is since 1982 also an award for the best crime novel by a Swedish author or a Swedish author.
