(The $ 5.98 EP) - Garage Days Re - Revisited is the first EP of the thrash metal band Metallica. The CD version was titled (The $ 9.98 CD) - Garage Days Re - Revisited. The mini album contains only cover songs and was recorded in only 6 days. It appeared after Master of Puppets.

It is the first recordings with Jason Newsted instead of Cliff Burton, who died in an accident with the tour bus in 1986.

The songs included here were later published with other cover songs on Metallica's eighth studio album Garage Inc..

It is also interesting that this album closes with a deliberately detuned version of the riffs of Iron Maidens Run to the Hills.
