Thomas Forstner
Thomas Forstner ( born December 3, 1969 in German -Wagram ) is an Austrian singer.
Life
He had his greatest success at the age of 19 years at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1989 in Lausanne with the contribution of only one song (composed by Dieter Bohlen, text by Joachim Horn Bernges ). He finished in 5th place out of 22, one of Austria's best results in the competition. In the Austrian charts, the song reached No. 1 on the Top Ten.
The English version of this song, Song Of Love, was a theme song to the episode The game is from the ZDF detective series The Old Man. The also produced by Dieter Bohlen single night When the sun is shining ( English version: Do not Say Goodbye Tonight) made it into the top ten in Austria.
When Euro Vision Song Contest 1991 in Rome Thomas Forstner joined entitled Venice in the Rain (composed by Robby Musenbichler and Hubert Moser, text by Wolfgang Eltner ) to. He finished in last of 22 seats with zero points.
In October 1991, Thomas Forstner closed his marriage with Vanessa Desiree Thun- Hohenstein (1967 ), 1998, the couple divorced again. From the marriage emerged a born in 1995, daughter.
After a long pause followed by several musical productions in various styles, including pop, soul, classical, chill-out, lounge, and crossover.
Currently, Thomas Forstner works full time as a software developer. Musically, he worked on live project Nightfall Sessions - a tribute lounge.
On September 16, 2009 Thomas Forstner married in German -Wagram his longtime girlfriend Bianca Rosenberg from Vienna. Both currently reside together in German - Wagram.
