Thory (Somme)
Thory ( Picard: Toéry ) is a northern French village with 172 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Noye, in the canton Ailly- sur- Noye.
Geography
In the northwest region of the Territory road D14 and in the southwest of the department road D26 ( along which also extends to the field of neighboring communities, a wind farm ) limited community lies at the department road D83, approximately eight kilometers south-southwest of Moreuil.
History
The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
