Tomislav Butina

Tomislav Butina ( born March 30, 1974 in Zagreb ) is a former Croatian football player.

The goalkeeper started his career in 1982 at Radnik Velika Gorica, for whom he played for one season. His next team was Dinamo Zagreb for he 1983-1994 guarded the gate. After one season followed in Karlovac, Samobor and Slaven Belupo before he again returned to Dinamo Zagreb in 1997.

The crowd moved in 2003 to Belgium for Club Brugge. After three years he wrote in the 2006/2007 season a contract with Greek club Olympiakos Piraeus.

Butina, an outspoken penalty killer, was at the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004 to the Croatian team.

In 2006, counted Butina to the World Cup squad. Since he was injured not fit properly, but came during the World Cup Stipe Pletikosa used.

In the first half of the 2010/11 season he played one game for Dinamo Zagreb and ended his career still in the same season.
