Tostão

Eduardo Gonçalves de Andrade, known as Tostão ( born January 25, 1947 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais ) is a former Brazilian footballer, who won the 1970 World Cup in Mexico with the Seleção. The South American Footballer of the Year 1971 was mainly active at club level for Cruzeiro in his native town, with whom he won the 1966 Cup of Brazil.

Career

National Team, 1966-1972

Beginning

On May 15, 1966 Tostão debut in the 1-1 draw against Chile in the Seleção São Paulo.
