Trarego Viggiona

Trarego Viggiona is a municipality with 393 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Verbano -Cusio -Ossola (VB ), Region Piedmont.

The neighboring municipalities are Aurano, Cannero Riviera, Cannobio, Falmenta and Oggebbio.

Geography

The place is located northwest of Cannero Riviera at an altitude of 771 m above sea level, which is about 580 meters above Lake Maggiore. The municipality covers an area of 18 km ².

Traffic

A partial narrow, winding road leads from Cannero via Piancassone after Viggiona and then to Cheglio and Trarego. Trarego - Viggiona is the public transport network connected: Three times per day A minibus to and from Cannero, from there it is a boat service to Luino and Intra- Verbania or direction of Switzerland.
