Tschingelhorn with Lauterbrunnen Wetterhorn

The Tschingelhorn is relative to the located in his neighborhood Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, a relatively unknown and with 3'562 m above sea level. M. rather lower peak in the Bernese Oberland ( Switzerland ). Nevertheless, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Jungfrau -Aletsch- Bietschhorn because of its beautiful surroundings.

The normal route is technically a little difficult, but it conditionally quite a challenging two-day tour. Takes you on the first day of Stechelberg in the Lauterbrunnen Valley on the Upper Steinberg and the Tschingelfirn ( Columns - Alpine tour equipment needed) Mutthornhütte. On the second day, the path leads from the cottage on the glacier and after crossing the Petersgrates by a moderately steep Firncouloir and the west ridge to the summit.

To the west lies the Chly Tschingelhorn ( 3,495 m above sea level. M. ), can be traversed from the Tschingelhorn (III).
