University of Cienfuegos

The Universidad de Cienfuegos ( German: University of Cienfuegos ) is located in Cienfuegos, the capital of the eponymous province in central Cuba. It was founded as the Instituto Superior Técnico de Cienfuegos ( Cienfuegos Institute of Technology ) on 6 December 1979. In 1998, it was for " Carlos Rafael Rodríguez ," a Cuban economist, one of Cuba's most famous intellectuals of the 20th century, named.
