Vagli Sotto

Vagli Sotto is a municipality with 981 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Garfagnana, in the province of Lucca. The municipality consists of the villages of Vagli Sotto Sopra Vagli and Roggio. The medieval village of Vagli Sotto is situated on a hilltop and is accessible only on foot. Nearby is the Lago di Vagli, a reservoir of the river Edron.
