Valença, Bahia

Valença is a port city in the state of Bahia in Brazil. Covering an area of ​​1195.6 km ², it has about 82,000 inhabitants. The population density is 70.16 inhabitants per km ².

The city on the Dendê Coast was founded in 1799 by Portuguese immigrants and is now known as one of the centers for seafood and their breeding farms that are sold to the capital city of Salvador da Bahia.
