VfL Wolfsburg (women)
The women's football department is part of the VfL Wolfsburg VfL Wolfsburg football GmbH, a football company from Wolfsburg. The Company was incorporated on 23 May 2001. The women's football department was established on 1 July 2003. The first team plays in the Bundesliga. In the 2012/13 season they won the treble of German Cup, DFB Cup and Champions League.
History
In 1973, the VfR Eintracht Wolfsburg a women's football department.
