Viktor Szélig
Viktor Szélig (Hungarian Viktor Szélig; born September 22, 1975 in Dunaújváros ) is a Hungarian ice hockey player who is since 2006 in Briançon Alpes Provence HC in the French Ligue Magnus under contract.

Career
Viktor Szélig began his career as a hockey player in his youth Dunaferr SE Dunaújváros, for the first team, he was active in the Hungarian Hockey League from 1994 to 2006. During this time, the defender won with his team the national championship four times and eight times the national cup. Furthermore Szélig was six times runner-up with Dunaferr SE Dunaújváros. In the summer of 2006, the Hungarian moved to Briançon Alpes Provence HC in the French Ligue Magnus, for which he has since standing on the ice. With Briançon he reached in 2008 and 2009, the runner-up and second place in the Coupe de la Ligue. In 2010 he won with his team for the first time the Coupe de France.
Internationally
For Hungary Szélig took part in the junior level at the U18 Junior C Championship in 1992 and the U18 Junior B Championship in 1993 and the U20 Junior C World Championships in 1993, 1994 and 1995.
In the senior level, he stood in the squad of his country at the World Championships Division II 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997 and 2000 and at the World Championships Division I 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2011, the world championship of Division IA in 2012 and the world Cup 2009. Moreover, he ran for Hungary in the qualification for the Olympic Winter Games 2010. From 2009 to 2011 he was the captain of Hungary.
