Vinné

Vinné (1927-1948 Slovak " Vinná "; Hungarian Vinna ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia Kraj Košice. It is located on the southwestern foot of the Vihorlat on the northern edge of the Eastern Slovak Lowland, 8 km from Michalovce.

The first written mention was made in the year 1249th The village has an early Gothic Church of St. Anne in the 13th century and a late-baroque castle from the 17th century. In the area there are the ruins of the castle Vinné and two larger bodies of water - the Vinné Lake ( Vinianske jazero ) and the reservoir Zemplínska šírava.
