Vlad In Tears is a Dark-Rock/Metal-Band Founded in 2005 in Berlin.

History

Vlad In Tears was founded in 2005 in Cassino ( Lazio ) (Italy ) by brothers Kris, Dario, Lex and her boyfriend Alex. Before they developed their own compositions and presented live, they first played only cover songs.

With her ​​first pieces they were soon up in Italy, Austria, Switzerland and the former Yugoslavia (now Serbia and Montenegro). Shortly after, they recorded their first demo " After The End ", which contained ten tracks.

In 2008, under the label of Aural Music released the ten tracks, the full debut album Seed Of An Ancient Pain, with Vlad In Tears came mainly in the Gothic scene with lively interest. Not even a year later, she already took the EP " Pact With The Night " on.

Was released in 2010 on Rough Trade their second LP Underskin, which was produced by John Fryer ( HIM, among others ), who traveled to the process for a month to Italy. After the release of the "Forbidden " tour, followed by Germany.

The end of 2011, finally, the concept album Welcome To Vladyland with which Vlad In Tears their ' Night In Vladyland "tour appeared then went on in 2012. Following the tour, the EP of the same name also appeared which inter alia contains a live song of her performance at the Echo Zone Dark Rock Festival.

2012, the new band formed after Lex and Alex left the band for personal reasons, but in friendship. In the course of the Salvatore and Luca Di Pressa brothers and the native Romanian Cosmo Cadar came to Vlad In Tears and since then have formed along with Kris and Dario the current line- up of the band.

With the move by Kris and Dario to Germany Vlad In Tears relocated its headquarters to Berlin. The band played with their new line-up in June 2013, an acoustic concert with the Berlin String Orchestra BSO and a guest singer in the theARTer Gallery in Berlin. Two months later, another acoustic concert followed in Remscheid.

The following fall through Vlad In Tears were as support for bands such as Steel Man (band), hematoma ( band) and fornication ( band ) on tour. In December 2013 was followed by an acoustic tour, this time as a headliner. During January 2014, the band accompanied fornication again on the second part of their Rosicrucian tour.

In February 2014, the brothers Salvatore and Luca Di Pressa left the band and were replaced by Gregor Friday.

For spring 2014, the group announced their fourth studio album Vlad In Tears.
